Are you PRESENT and EFFECTIVE as the CEO of your own practice?

In this blog, I'd like to talk about one of the most critical aspects of practice growth - mindset.

We've all heard the saying, "You are what you think." Well, it's absolutely true. Our thoughts create our reality. If we want to create a successful practice, we need to start with a success-oriented mindset.

So how do you do that?

Here are three mindset shifts that I've adopted from high-performing athletes and entrepreneurs that have helped me tremendously in my journey as a successful medical sale employee, and later on, as a business owner:

1. Be a high performer. If you're building a team of high performers, you HAVE to be a high performer yourself. High performers get a lot more done with the same amount of time. How do they do it? Through the power of time blocking.

Time blocking is where you intentionally set aside time in your day to do the most effective things that will move the needle for your business. These are often things that only you can do.

And for all the other tasks, you can delegate them to your team members. This frees up your time and energy so you can focus on what you're best at.

2. Join a "growth group". Henry Ford explains it best when he said, "If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself."

This quote emphasizes the importance of teamwork and unity in achieving success. Many minds working to achieve one collective goal amplifies each individual's power. There is an incredible energy source that gets amplified when we are all aligned and working toward the same goal - growth and success!

3. Be Present. Even if we now live in a virtual world, there's an energy, a brilliance, and an intelligence that comes from in-person conversations and connections you can never experience online.

Think about it: even the most successful tech companies were born from in-person brainstorming and collaborations!
